Banana Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS

• 3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
• 1/3 cup melted butter
• 1 cup sugar (can easily reduce to 3/4 cup)
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

METHOD

No need for a mixer for this recipe. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.

current issues terrorism question

i think we should increase airport security. the reason i think this is because that is a pretty easy way for terrorists to make a devastating attack, like 911. maybe we should train the pilots of plains with guns so if someone wanting to take over the plane they could protect themselves along with the people on the plane.

We need to find a good balance between protection and freedom. i feel that protection is a little more important if it means losing a few slight freedoms. such as airport security.

legalization of marijuana

there is a lot of people talking about the topic of legalization of marijuana, for medical purposes. I personally do not think it should be legalized at all. in the following paragraphs i will be explaining why i think this. 

yes i realize that marijuana helps people with cancer and diseases alike, but as soon as a state or part of a state legalizes it, people will abuse that freedom. such as when they tried it in Colorado. people would grow it and then sell it to people that are not using it for medical purposes. also it draws in people form other countries to come illegally and try to make a living off of growing and then selling to people without such diseases.

i also know that it would help a lot of good people that would be able to grow it legally and sell it to people that use it for there diseases. and like i said before i know it would help the people with the illnesses, i just don't think it is worth it.     

in this post i will be talking about immigration in the United States. i will be giving my opinion on if we should open ourselves to the world, make immigration unnecessary, admit only the talent we need, or if we should restrict immigration.

i strongly believe the U.S should just restrict immigration.

i think restricting immigration will help get other american back on there feet. this will happen because there will be more jobs that aren't being taken from immigrants that are willing to work for less money.

Restricting immigration will also help the government because they will have to pay less welfare checks, because most immigrants mostly immigrate to areas where there is generous areas of welfare.

i think restricting immigration is the solution to helping our dilemma.

Miranda vs Arizona

in 1963, Ernesto Miranda was charged with rape, kidnapping, and robbery. Miranda was not informed about his rights before he was interrogated. After the police had interrogated him for two hours, Ernesto confessed to the crimes. the police were recording the whole interrogation. Ernesto had a history of being mentally unstable.

In the trial, the confession was the only thing the prosecution used. Ernesto was convicted, and was sentenced to twenty or thirty years in prison. But Ernesto appealed to the Arizona supreme court. he said that the police got his confession, unconstitutionally. The court disagreed. Then Ernesto Appealed to the U.S. Supreme court.

the U.S supreme court ruled 5-4 in favor of Ernesto. the they said the court was not able to use Miranda's confession because, The police had not informed him that he had the right to an attorney. they repeated the trial, without the confession, and Ernesto was convicted again.

This impacts anyone who get's arrested today. that case introduced the "Miranda Right's". If that case would not have happened, we might not have had something like the "Miranda Right's".   

  

biggest issue facing america

      hello, today i will be talking about what i think the biggest issue that America is facing. i think it is a mix between the economy, and the war.
     
      i think the economy is the biggest issues because the economy effects everyone. though our economy is getting a little better, it is still not great. this effects thousand's and thousand's of people, family's, big businesses, small businesses, and family's. until the economy get's better people are going to continue to lose there jobs.

      one other reason i think this is the biggest issue is because i have family members that have been effected by the economy. they have either lost there jobs, or have had pay cuts.
